Not Even Donald Trump - Hillary Clinton's Foreign Policy Record and Intentions

 Dear Hillary Clinton,

I hope this finds you well. I am an Australian who has been following Foreign Policy closely for the past several years, and I wish to explain to you - and to the American people - why I believe you should not be President of the United States of America.

My reasons are not economic, nor are they associated with your domestic policy. My reasons why I believe you should not be President are purely due to your Foreign Policy record and intentions.

Let me start with your decision on the Iraq War. You said and I quote: "This is probably the hardest decision I've ever had to make. Any vote that might lead to war should be hard. But I cast it with conviction."

You made this decision in 2002, and if you had made a mistake in voting for the Iraq War, this may be forgiveable.

However, in 2011, 9 years later, you pushed and pushed for the overthrow of Libyan President Gidaffi and, due to your high level position as Secretary of State, you were able to your influence to convince President Obama to overthrow Gidaffi.

Look at Libya now. Do not tear your eyes away from it, as most of the world is doing. It is becoming the exact same mess as we are seeing in Iraq.

Did you not know that the Libyan people are a proud people? Did you not realise the Libyans would not be willing to receive as much help as you were willing to give? If you did not know, then why were you Secretary of State? And if you did know, why did you overthrow Gidaffi? Why did you make it your business to involve yourself in a conflict that had no threat to United States' interest?

Your incompetent decision - either incompetent, or corrupt - has given terrorists across the world a valuable safe haven in Libya.

Now let me turn to your recent arguments. You have said you support a 'no-fly-zone' in Syria to stop Assad, the President of Syria, massacring Syrians, all the while attempting to degrade and destroy ISIS in Syria.

This Foreign Policy decision would be worse than your previous two decisions. If Assad leaves Syria now, ISIS or Al-Qaeda would control the country. There would be massacres of Christian minorities, of Alawite minorities and of Druze minorities, and Israel would be threatened - not protected - not its Syrian border.

Not only so, but do you honestly expect Russia to support a 'no-fly-zone' in Syria? The 'no-fly-zone' you propose goes completely counter to Russian interest, threatens to shoot Syrian and Russian planes from the sky, and possibly escalate the conflict into the beginnings of a world war.

Not even Donald Trump would make such a foolish error of judgement.

I believe that you, Hillary Clinton, do not have American interest at heart. It is my belief you would rather overthrow dictators than fight the war on terror. Both wars cannot be fought at once. The war for democracy must wait until the war on terror is won.

If you cannot understand this fact, then it is my belief you do not deserve the Presidency. Either change your poisonous foreign policy attitude, an attitude which has caused - and would cause - utter chaos in the Middle-East, or withdraw from the Presidencial election.

I hope you would reconsider your foreign policies. If you do not, Al-Qaeda, ISIS and something worse may be the only legacy you leave behind for the Middle-East.
